Thank you so much Leslie for this wonderful and raw piece. Your daughter is so fortunate to have such an understanding mother. I could be the girl you’re describing, but as long I can remember my mother has always blamed everything that is going wrong in her life on me and the darkness that I cannot escape from. We stopped talking to each other a while ago. I am so happy there are more supportive mothers out there.
