So you have scrolled down to begin reading my piece. Congratulations, you have fallen prey to my clickbait title. But we are all just playing the game, right?

I will try to be brief because I know that you will lose interest in the next 10 seconds if I do not make some bold claim or promise you instant success, wealth, and prosperity with minimal effort.

So here it is: I only did this one thing to become an incredibly successful writer on Medium.

My last incredibly well-researched, thought-provoking, Pulitzer-worthy piece has three views so far. That comes down to three hours of work per view. I think that was probably too much effort and time spent. I am still deciding on whether I should buy a house or maybe a humble yacht for the 11¢ this piece has earned me.
